Many
people are not aware of this fact, but companies sometimes pay a
store for premium placement of their products. The most expensive
places are obvious - eye level. Here is where most people see
products quickly and easily. Often
times items at eye level actually cost more than their equivalent on
the shelf two rows below. Stores know it is easier to sell a
product that is easily accessible verses those that require "some
work" to reach. Our laziness is actually costing us
money!
Point
of the story is, learn to bend over or reach high for savings!
Convenience usually comes at a price.
