YogaBugs
Creative yoga classes for children

A
little background to the company
YogaBugs originated just over 11 years ago and has been running as a
business since 2003. We are a focused, energetic and fun organisation
with a serious commitment to providing creative yoga classes for
children through YogaBugs & Yoga’d Up.
Our
success and growth over the last 4 years has been a result of our strong
belief, and determination to make YogaBugs a viable and successful
business. YogaBugs is the market leader in children’s yoga, no other
organisation can offer the same visibility and market share or hold such
a recognised brand.
The
company is backed by a team of focused and dedicated Directors with a
loyal management team. We are looking for Management Franchisees who
want to share our vision and are determined to grow their own business
with the independence offered through a Management Franchise structure
and the support of an experienced team.
How does the franchise work?
When you become a franchisee with in YogaBugs you will be awarded an
exclusive territory for you and your team to work within. It will be
your job to enrol current qualified YogaBugs and Yoga’d Up teachers and
to recruit and train new staff. The challenge then is to utilise the
YogaBugs Ltd network of strong relationships to enlist a sufficient
quantity and quality of schools and nurseries to host classes run by
your teachers. Your return comes from class revenue and merchandise
sales. To be successful you will need to keep a growing team of teachers
as busy as possible!
What does a Management Franchise involve?
As
a Management Franchisee, you will be required to organise and run
YogaBugs & Yoga’d Up classes in your own exclusive territory. You will
take responsibility for all aspects of your business including:
-
Building a team
of teachers
-
Running classes
& other special events such as birthday parties
-
Local
advertising & marketing
-
Finding
appropriate venues
-
Dealing with
all enquiries from parents, schools, nurseries etc
-
Collecting all
class and registration fees
-
Managing
waiting lists and completing all necessary administration
-
Developing
merchandise sales
YogaBugs Ltd already has a trained network of teachers who are offering
classes throughout the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for
working with these teachers, finding them additional classes, whilst
further developing the network of teachers in your area.
Classes can be run in a variety of venues: Nurseries and schools,
community and childcare centres, health and sports clubs, private
crèches and play schools, supermarket and shopping centres and holiday
clubs.
The
majority of classes are held during term time and the school day which
means if you have a family you can work around your children’s schedule.
However, it is important to remember that the opportunity and potential
demand for classes is huge and we will encourage you to look at all
exciting revenue streams which include holiday clubs and birthday
parties.
Parents and Schools are enthusiastic about YogaBugs
Over
the years we have established excellent relationships with both parents
and teaching establishments. They recognise the value that YogaBugs can
offer them:
-
The classes are
lots of fun, unique in their approach and everyone can take part!
-
Each class is
carefully planned to include warm up exercises, posture work,
breathing exercises, relaxation and visualisation techniques.
-
Classes are
tried and tested on all age groups.
-
YogaBugs is
working with the School Sports Partnership to bring classes to
children before, during and after the school day.
-
Schools are
offering classes during PPA time (Planning, Preparation & Assessment
Time) as well as being arranged as apart of the Extended Schools
Programme.
-
Classes can
integrate topics from the National Curriculum to help children learn
(i.e. basic numeracy, literacy, colours, educational themes).
-
Classes don’t
require expensive sports equipment and can be done anywhere with a
clean floor.
-
The children
benefit from a safe, creative and non-competitive activity. Classes
help children to maintain their natural flexibility and express
their creativity and individuality.
